Cookies Policy | DraftKings Casino

About cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website may place on your computer, mobile phone, tablet or another internet-connected device. They allow a website to recognise a device and remember certain information about a visit. Cookies do not usually contain information that directly identifies you, although information collected through cookies may be linked with other information we hold about you.

DraftKings Casino may also use similar technologies, including pixels, tags, software development kits, local storage and other tracking tools. In this policy, we refer to cookies and these similar technologies together as cookies unless the context requires otherwise.

Cookies can help a website operate correctly, remember choices, understand how visitors use its pages and support security. Some cookies may be set by DraftKings Casino, while others may be set by third parties that provide services on or through the website. The types of cookies used may change over time as the website, its features or its service providers change.

Why cookies are used

To allow essential website and account functions to work.
To maintain security and help detect suspicious, fraudulent or prohibited activity.
To remember settings, preferences and information entered during a session.
To understand website performance, including which pages are visited and whether links work as intended.
To improve the design, content and usability of the website.
To support marketing, advertising or promotional measurement where permitted and where relevant choices have been provided.

Types of cookies we may use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are needed for core website functions. They may support account access, navigation, session management, fraud prevention, security controls and other services you request. Without these cookies, some parts of the website may not function properly. Because they are necessary for the operation and security of the website, they may remain active even when other cookie categories are declined.

Preference and functionality cookies

These cookies help the website remember choices you make, such as language, region, display or other settings. They may make future visits more convenient and can help provide features that you have requested. If you disable these cookies, some preferences may not be remembered and certain features may work differently.

Analytics and performance cookies

These cookies help us understand how visitors use the website. They may collect information such as pages viewed, time spent on a page, navigation paths, device information, browser type and general location information. The information is used to measure performance, identify errors, improve content and develop a better experience. Analytics information may be collected in an aggregated or pseudonymised form, subject to the service and settings used.

Advertising and marketing cookies

Where used and permitted, these cookies may help measure advertising activity, understand campaign performance or show content that is more relevant to your interests. They may be placed by DraftKings Casino or by advertising and technology partners. These cookies can involve information about your browsing activity across websites or services. You can usually manage this category through the cookie preference tool or your browser settings.

Third-party cookies

Some website features may be supplied by third parties. These providers may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own privacy policies and terms. Third-party technologies may support analytics, security, embedded content, payment-related functions, customer support or advertising. DraftKings Casino does not control every cookie used by third parties, so you should review the relevant provider's information where appropriate.

Managing your cookie choices

When available, our cookie preference tool allows you to accept or reject optional categories of cookies. Your choices may be saved on the device or browser you use. If you use a different device, browser or private browsing session, you may need to make your choices again. You can also change your preferences later by using the available cookie settings link or control on the website.

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You may be able to block all cookies, delete existing cookies, receive a warning before a cookie is stored or allow cookies only from selected websites. Browser settings differ, so consult the help information for your browser or device for instructions.

Open your browser or device privacy settings.
Review the available cookie, tracking or site-data controls.
Choose whether to allow, restrict or delete cookies.
Close and reopen the browser if required for the change to take effect.
Review the settings again after updates, as browser or website changes may affect your choices.

Blocking or deleting cookies may affect how the website works. You may be unable to use some account, security or gaming-related functions, and some preferences may not be retained. Disabling cookies does not necessarily remove all information already collected, and it may not prevent every form of online tracking. Some controls are device-specific and do not automatically apply across all browsers or devices.

Mobile devices

Mobile operating systems may provide controls for advertising identifiers, app permissions and tracking. If you access DraftKings Casino through a mobile device or application, you can review the privacy and advertising settings provided by your operating system. Some app features may use technologies that are different from browser cookies but serve similar purposes.

Privacy, security and updates

Information collected through cookies may be used with other personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. That policy explains how personal information may be collected, used, stored, disclosed and protected, as well as the rights and choices that may apply to you under Australian privacy law. Where information is collected through a cookie or similar technology, we aim to handle it responsibly and for legitimate business, service, security or legal purposes.

Cookies can support security, but they are not a complete security measure. You should keep your device, browser and operating system updated, use suitable security protections, and avoid sharing account credentials or allowing other people to access your account. If you notice unusual activity, follow the account security instructions available on the website and contact DraftKings Casino through the support channels made available to you.

We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, website features, legal requirements or our practices. When changes are made, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date where appropriate. You should check this page periodically so that you remain informed about how cookies are used.

If you have questions about this Cookies Policy, your cookie choices or the handling of personal information, please use the contact or support options provided on the DraftKings Casino website. Do not include passwords, payment details or other sensitive information in an enquiry unless it is specifically requested through a secure channel.
